How Your Donations Will be Used

FAMILY TO FAMILY

Our “Family to Family” program helps provide funding for the operation of the shelter. The “Family to Family” program was created in 2002 by families who wish to support the HIS house families. We helped on the average of about 145 people (adults and children) each year. Three of the major and largest budget items for the Shelter is our professional staffing; childcare expenses which allows the parents to work and save money for eventual housing without paying for day care expenses; and utilities (air conditioning, heating, lights, gas, water). Of course there are also other many other expenses incurred in the running of the Shelter. These programs are all important to the effective running of the Shelter

FOUNDERS FUND

The Founders Fund program helps assists the residents of the Shelter for medical, dental or vision needs that may come up from time to time.

DONATIONS TO BE USED FOR NEEDED PURPOSE

Of course, you can always give a donation to the Shelter to be used for the purposes of any general needs for individuals at the Shelter and programs that are being run on behalf of those in the Shelter.
