Need for Donations

Both physical and monetary donations are a major part of our budget, support for the operations of H.I.S. House.

1. Monetary gifts (Family to Family) -
Donations from your family are needed to help pay for the professional staff, utilities, counseling, childcare, and transportation for the families of H.I.S. House. We would appreciate any financial contribution, and we hope that you will consider making H.I.S. House part of you ongoing charitable giving. Please send your gift(s) to:

2. Physical donations -
These donations should be new or in good condition, and all appliances must be in working order. Please call the H.I.S. House office first at (714) 993-5774 to see when and where to deliver these items. We have divided our needs into 3 categories:

  • ALWAYS NEEDED
    new pillows
    paper towels
    toilet paper
    household cleaning supplies
    laundry supplies
    liquid hand soap
    Saran wrap, foil and Baggies (large and small)
    mattress pads and blankets.......twin size only
  • CURRENT NEEDS
    all of the above
    coffee
    gas vouchers
    pots and pans
    plastic food containers
    small working appliances
    diapers.......toddler size
  • DO NOT NEED AT THIS TIME
    large furniture
    large appliances
    sofabeds
    recliners
    full, queen or king size beds

Any of these items may be sold, if we do not need them, in order to generate income for our shelter program.
